Sharing God’s Love in Eaton Rapids since 1973

Christmas is about celebrating the birth of God's son, Jesus Christ! If you are facing difficult times, we may be able to help. PROJECT CHRISTMAS LOVE is focused to bring the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ to Christmastime celebrations by providing a food gift box and children’s gifts to individuals and
families in need living in our Eaton Rapids Community.

Project Christmas Love is preparing to serve those who:

• Live in the Eaton Rapids Public School District AND

• Are enrolled in state or local assistance programs, or experiencing economic hardship

AND

• Do not anticipate receiving Christmas assistance from other organizations (e.g., Eaton Rapids VFW National Home, Salvation Army, Toys for Tots).

If you meet these qualifications, please make note of the following:

• Application Deadline is Wednesday, November 18, 2026.

• Food gift boxes will be given to everyone. The contents of your food gift box are determined by the number of individuals living in your household.

• A store-specific gift card for each child 18 years old and younger will be provided. This allows you to have the Christmas shopping experience and select gender-, age- and/or interest-related presents for your child. Our goal is to provide socks for each child as well as hats and mittens/gloves for those 12 years old and younger.

• Pick-up is Saturday, December 12 from 9 a.m. to 12 noon at First United Methodist Church, 600 S. Main St., Eaton Rapids. Please mark this date on your calendar now. It is very difficult to hold your gifts after that date.

• You will receive a letter in early December about picking up your gifts. Contact us if you do not receive a letter in the mail by Saturday, December 5.

If you meet the above qualifications, you can submit your information online or download a .pdf document you can print, complete and return it to us.
